The opening alone made it meme popular.
But the series is really damn good until the mid series reveal, and then it kind of goes sideways. Then it really had potential with how it handled it's main characters until the ending was ass.
Like no series that have ended the past few years have been good. Demon Slayer is literally the only series that I can think of having a good ending.

You fooooooooool. It is fantastic, but yeah maybe you are right the manga might not be as good. The same can be said for a-lot of good adaptions though. The music, animation & voice-acting add some-thing.

At the start it wasn't as obvious, but yeh it seems it may promote that kind of worldview (I never watched the final season beyond an episode or two).
