Well, I don't know where to peg Kaioshin at. He got way stronger after fusing, but if Vegeta were still the one who got to stay in the planet to battle Kid Boo while he didn't even suggest aiding them, I think Vegeta's still considerably above Kibitoshin. When they were on their way off Fishman Island it was mentioned there was an island that rains lightning... or was it when that Supernova (the huge bulky one) was about to get ready for some important battle? Idk exactly but it's mentioned in one of those instances.

Probably, although I think it won't amount to much. There's this theory too that the island that rains electricity is being controlled by Enel.

This is coming from someone who has both watched the anime and read the manga: you won't be missing up much if anything by watching the anime for the 1st part, before the TS. Rather, it even improves some sad scenes with powerful and over the top theme songs and voice acting, I won't name them...

@Wolf Well, for one, I don't believe you need to be at full power SSJ in order to access SSJ2. It was just a quick burst and Vegeta's later comments imply it wasn't Goku's full power. Secondly, Bobbidi seemed to be paying attention fully to the crystal ball when Yakon was sucking more energy...

I think he was just not paying attention to it. He seemed very focused in the fight. And the SSJ2 was also a quick burst, maybe the meter couldn't pick it up similar to scouters.

It's also worth noting that the manga focuses on both Zoro and Sanji when Luffy thanks Rayleigh and says he'll be the pirate king, while iirc the anime focuses on Zoro moreso. Rayleigh seems to hit up on women tho, a trait found in Sanji. I think they're referenced more than once as the king's...
