Yesterday my copy of Yo! came in the mail. I'm watching it now, and I noticed something new.

When Tarble arrives, he is described as having a huge ki. Which I must have missed because I have been putting him much lower.

Not only that, but it is 18 who says this. She's not suppose to be able to sense ki.

Probably just a writers error. I still thought it was worth a mention. I love this movie.

Could just mean he's similar to Yamcha or something, seeing as they described Yamchas ki the same way

Android arc Yamucha is still higher than I initially considered for Tarble. Yet Vegeta says that he was sent away because he "couldn't fight". That may not he related to battle power at all, and might be more in line with Tarble's mindset.

Hmm. Revelations.

And who knows. Maybe Bulma or Briefs upgraded 18 to read ki.

Well, she's organic for the most part so Kuririn could've taught her that ability. Even Videl seems to be able to sense ki somewhat, so nothing wrong with #18 learning it imo.

I always thought it was silly that she didn't have the ability anyway.

Even stranger is that Fat Boo and Babidi can't sense ki, especially since the latter somehow knew there were people hiding nearby and Fat Boo has two Kaioshins in him...

That did cross my mind too. Like Kenshi said, they said this about Yamucha as well. I don't think we should take it too far down. Not sure if she would say this about someone like Raditz but maybe closer to someone like Dodoria, who has planet busting ability.

Well, even Raditz, or a part 1 character for that matter, would be a huge Ki compared to the majority of humans. For his power to be at a level that his arrival would warrant relevance over such, he'd probably need to be in the low hundreds at least though.

"Huge ki" could mean anything from the high hundreds to the hundred thousands to the millions. Considering Tarble had been running from Abo and Cado for years, it's possible his strength could've increased along the way, so Vegeta's initial assessment of him being pathetically weak could be slightly outdated.
