Not easily, but Daimao should win. Krillin could still keep up with weighted Goku's speed which was slightly superior to his kid self/Daimao.

Yeah I think Young Daimao takes this handily. Maybe a Cell vs Goku type of victory.

Young Piccolo-Daimao wins easily weirdly enough.

Easily? You think Junior was using a lower power than Young Daimao against Kuririn despite telling him he will show him a bit of his true power?

I don't even understand how that was supposed to be even a glimpse of his true power if he wasn't one-shotting a guy he can easily kill while half dead.

Couldn't it have been around the power of young Piccolo-Daimao? That'd actually be an interesting match...

Piccolo Jr. (powered-up; vs Kuririn) vs Piccolo-Daimao (Young)

It had already been mentioned that Piccolo Jr. was far stronger than Daimao, and since the power he used against Kuririn was described as a glimpse of his 'true power', Piccolo Jr. was most likely a lot stronger than Daimao at that point.

So Ryan, you agree that Kuririn can rival Daimao since he was able to stand after several hits from that "much stronger" than Daimao power? I don't think Junior would state that taking over the world would be harder than he thought if Kuririn wasn't in the same league as his late father.

Do you mean Goku saying that before? I don't think he saw Piccolo Jr. use his full-power until their fight, since even at the beginning of the fight they were just warming-up. Goku probably just could sense his latent power or whatever.

And there is Goku vs Tenshinhan which even when weighted seemed like a fight that's on a whole another level than anything we've seen before at the tournament. Weighted Goku's speed hadn't changed that much in-comparison to his power.

Even then, Kuririn and Yamcha could both follow the Weighted Goku, while Kuririn was completely lost against Jr. Tenshinhan also showed visible surprise at Jr's speed vs Kuririn, while he had no such reaction towards Goku's speed.

Pretty much what Kenshi said. Kuririn could still surprise Piccolo Junior and see Goku's weighted movements, which was slightly above young Daimao's speed. Still, that speed was obviously a bit above his, with Yamcha being stunned when it was considered slow by Tenshinhan. Young Daimao takes this after a good battle.

I think the speed thing is a bit unreliable. I mean the announcer could tell Tenshinhan pushing weighted Goku back, so I don't know.

Piccolo Jr., IIRC also made a comment about Tenshinhan and weighted Goku's speed saying they posessed significant speed or something, but then it was revealed that weighted Goku's speed hadn't changed that much since 3 years ago.

I think that Krillin would put up a respectable fight, but KP would emerge victorious.

He showed surprise to Piccolo Junior's arms expanding, not exactly his speed. Piccolo Junior also showed surprise to both Ten's holding back speed and weighted Goku's speed, saying they are swift and he must grant that.

That just means that the Announcer is > Kuririn :troll

And all Junior had known about Ten was that he was fodder to Drum, so him being Daimao tier three years later could probably be considered significant. Don't know what to say about Goku though. :idk

@ahill1 The point was that Ten showed greater surprise towards Piccolo than Goku, although I'll double check that section about his arms stretching.

@Fantastische Hure The announcer following Goku and Ten's fight is kind of like Piccolo following Goku and True Form Freeza's fight. It was just a convenient way for Toriyama to inform the readers what was happening.

He really didn't show much surprise to Junior other than noting his arm expanding and being a bit anxious when Piccolo was about to show a bit of his true power.

Yeah, I checked and you're right about that. Must've been mistaken because the line "He's fast!" sees to be stated a lot in the 23rd Budokai. :idk
