Whilst it's true both Kuririn and Yamcha could follow the movements, they did that in awe. I mean their expression says it all. They were awe-inspired, so maybe it's like a Goku vs Freeza kind-of thing. :king :king :king

I mean I am kind-of serious.

They were looking like :eek:dawg :eek:dawg :eek:dawg when watching the match. Seemed like something that was above them by the looks of it.

I never denied that. It's made clear that Piccolo Daimao level speed is above them. I'm just arguing against Daimao being able to defeat them easily.

But that look looks like it's quite above them as-in well above.

Also Tenshinhan when he fought Tao-Pai-Pai wasn't going all-out, yet Kuririn said he's "too strong" or something like that (when he one-shotted Tao). Then Tenshinhan fought Goku and that level even initially seemed above what Tenshinhan used to one-shot Tao-Pai-Pai (or maybe not since they saw him move a lot more and stuff).

Eh I don't think the Taopaipai fight proves much - Tao was defeated easily to show off Tenshinhan's improvement the same way Chappa was fodderized by Goku, but it wasn't until Kuririn was on the losing end in their actual match that he realized he was really outclassed. Furthermore it's only when Tenshinhan unveils his full speed that they really can't keep up, and they stress they can still see Goku moving at the exact same time. It's not like that Cell Games garbage where Roshi can track Cell's movements on camera at all.

True, I guess in this case them being able to track movements might mean more than usual but even then the look on their faces seem to imply that that's a level well above them even if they can see them.

Tenshinhan had just nullified the Super Dodonpa with a kiai, so I doubt that statement is primarily speed-based. And at least in my opinion, they don't really look that shocked by the battle until Tenshinhan goes all out.

Then maybe I'm misremembering. I'm going off memory mainly.

@Diamond Ryan what do you think of Tenshinhan still holding Piccolo-Daimao level power in high-regard?

Tenshinhan >>> Kuririn

Didn't Yamcha at the 22nd Budokai hold Chappa's power in high regard, despite being a lot stronger than him? You can be far above a certain power and still hold it in a high regard I think.

He didn't necessarily have to be. Could also have been somewhat close to Chapa-o, but yeah seems more likely that Yamcha is way above him but Tenshinhan called Goku's power 3 years ago "anything but perfect" and was surprised that he went so much above even that. Seems like he respects that level of power very much. Tenshinhan also didn't speed-blitz weighted Goku that badly, even-though I guess part of it could be because Tenshinhan didn't want to finish the fight yet.

Tenshinhan said he was surprised that Goku's eyes could keep up with his speed, so I think there was quite a gap between weighted Galu and 10shithands in speed

Right, but he still didn't completely speed-blitz Goku, even taking into account that Tenshinhan might not have wanted to end the fight straight-way. Goku was still kind-of able to defend himself, but barely.

Tenshinhan said his eyes can keep up but his body can't, or something along those lines. I imagine that if Goku wasn't as strong as he was (i.e. Piccolo Daimao level still) his eyes wouldn't have been able to keep up either.

True, but if you look at Tenshinhan after going full-power, it seems that even-though Tenshinhan is obviously putting on the pressure and keeping Goku on the defensive, he wasn't like stomping him. Goku was getting hit a few times, but he was also barely able to defend himself.

This line that Goku's strength 3 years ago was anything but perfect, but that Tenshinhan was surprised that he managed to go even so much above that. I don't know. To me it makes it seem like Tenshinhan upto that point in the tournament hadn't seen anyone even put out close the power someone of that level has (Goku 3 years ago).

I don't exactly see where Goku was defending himself. He didn't block a single hit from Tenshinhan, and Ten dodged all of his.

Really? Maybe I'm confusing with the anime again. Come to think of it I don't even know whether I read the manga version of this fight.
