Why the fuck would each member of CP9 have a key for Robin's handcuffs? Why would they even need a key at all? Seems like a ridiculous thing to include to force the SHC to succeed in freeing her.

Lmfao why the hell was Crocodile allowed to keep his poison hook while imprisoned :ha :cena

Maybe being stabbed with poison would just make Magellan stronger :troll

He can only use the poison when removing the gold covering, which wouldn't be possible in handcuffs. Removing the hook in general may have been deemed more of a risky move to the guards if anything, considering the adjustments that'd need to be made to his cuffs. The hook without the poison isn't much of a threat to be worried about, considering a lot of other Impel Down prisoners can do more damage with their fists anyway such as Jimbei.

Finished Water 7. It's a good arc but there are far too many convenient moments. Spandam leaking the government plans to the entirety of the island because the den-den mushi was off the hook. Spandam pressing the golden den-den mushi. Lucci getting rocked unconscious by G3 Luffy but somehow lands on a Marine ship. CP9 randomly holding legitimate keys for Robin/other handcuffs (why the fuck would they?). Pretty well every major fight needed some level of BS for the crew to win. Zoro randomly develops Asura. Sanji's leg suddenly catches fire and can nearly one shot Jabra. Sanji managed to survive Kalifa and had a tub of water fall on his head to revive him. And there were many more I'm not thinking of.

Regardless, still an enjoyable read overall.

What was the purpose of those keys? Every each of them opened Robin's handcuffs? If so, having only one of them should be enough.

Only one of them opened the handcuffs. But why would they even need one when Spandam/Lucci were the ones escorting Robin? Furthermore, why would they reveal this to the SHC at all? Had they simply hidden the keys in their clothing, the SHC would have never freed Robin.

They need a key in case they accidentally handcuff the wrong person.

They told them so they could stall the SHs, so they can't just ignore the other CP9ers and go after Lucci/Robin.

Why were there multiple handcuffs tho? Only Robin needed them in the first place. They'd have been better off throwing her key into the ocean

Resumed my rereading. Skypiea is starting to heat. The survival game is on and two relevant characters are already kissing the ground (that string Vassalan and Braham). It's curious that Zoro only uses one sword when doing that flying slice attack. He likely hadn't mastered it with more swords yet. I kinda wished that Whyper found Zoro instead. Would like to know how that would unveil.
