In the F manga yes which isn't part of the Super manga, that was written to abide by the movies rules, Super's manga is its own thing where the rules are different for how powers work.

Beerus throws his big fiery death gall at Goku and after it gets blown away by a Kamehameha, Goku just powers down to Base and watches Beerus & Whis leave. He doesn't fight after losing God like in the movie & anime.

Manga has become extremely fast paced, even compared to the original DB/DBZ manga, but is
also more consistent than the anime, since it leaves out the statements about Freeza>Base and
SSJ3 Goku>Ultimate Gohan.
