Anybody else wants to pretend it ended at Cell saga?

No argument there. I think the editor was pretty spot-on with his complaints. Cell is easily the MVP android.

I think we might actually see a Super Saiyan Rainbow in the future.

I even think the Cell saga was already a bit forced, with the mighty guy in the Universe being surpassed by an Earth scientist's androids, whereas his android at the Red Ribbon saga (#8) was weaker than Tao Pai Pai, a being million of times weaker than Freeza.

Still, I think the end at the Cell saga, with Gohan replacing his father as "the protector of Earth" would be a really good end, and that was where Toriyama thought to end Dragon Ball, but was 'forced' to continue it, so I cannot really blame him.

Majin Boo has a reason to be more powerful than Freeza unlike Cell.

Anyway, I like the way it is. If anything I want to be pretend the final arc then it should be Freeza Arc because that's the peak of DB.

If the scientist is an alien like DR. Myu then that would be a good reason but an Earthling? Hell no, that's why Gero's gate had been treated as joke all these years given its ridiculous.

Yeah how can an Earth scientist who created #8 (<Tao Pai Pai) create #16, #19 and #20 (which was HIMSELF), who were all arguably more powerful than Freeza (the entitled more powerful guy in da Universe, who was a prodigy, making the majority of Saiyans look like ****) only after seeing fights as Goku vs Piccolo and Goku vs Vegeta?

The saddest part is that if he just spied on Trunks vs. Freeza and was expecting SSJs, the arc wouldn't have gone off to such a terrible start. Or even just by having Trunks NOT blow up Cold's spaceship, or by putting in a statement where Gero picked up pieces of his technology or some shit to explain his rapid development.

Instead, some 90 year old shithead in a lab could just create guys a dozen times stronger than Freeza. Lolok.

Well, all he did was put his brain inside an energy absorption model body. If he could create #16 from scratch and guys like #17 from human teenagers, well..........

I didn't bring the #17/18 examples because they are from an infinite energy model, but guys created by an Earth scientist with Earth materials (or at least I guess) being above MECHA Freeza, who had been rebuilt with 'alien' material, already said to have a far better technology than Earth is lol.

But well remembered that he put his brain in an old absorption energy model. I thought he was built by #19 or something?

I think the editor's complaints at Androids Saga were a blessing in disguise...
-Without them: Just some guy that goes back in time to save the future. Not original at all.
-With them: Another traveler, from a more distant future, but he arrived here one year before Trunks. This
creates a system of four timelines, product of AT's genius. So genius that, even nowadays, few people can
understand it.
