Are CSSJB/Kaioken and SSJB Evolution Not Part of Toriyama's Canon?

It's important to note that the CSSJB form is but nonexistent in the Broly film, which being directly written by Toriyama is closer to his canon than the manga which is basically Toyotaro following AT's rough draft with minor corrections. Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta have auras in blue at multiple points in the movie, and even when SSJ Broly is dominating Goku and Vegeta in the blue form the former doesn't go Kaioken, nor does the latter use SSJBE, despite his enhanced Blue form being in both the anime and manga.

I think that with it being meant to stand in both the anime or manga canon due to the manga just skipping over it and hoping the movie would tie things up, so any material exclusive to either medium was removed in order to avoid any retcons as bad as Anime Galu going SSG without explanation. From a manga perspective, it can be assumed Goku and Vegeta did use PSSB against Broly, seeing as how the difference between the two's auras seem negligible in Tracetaro's artwork and the gap between SSB and SSG implied in the film seems way more than what the manga goes with when SSG Vegeta still had the reaction speed to make the switch to Blue just before SSR Black's attacks hit.

SSBE likely wasn't used since we don't know if Manga Vegeta can spam it like his anime self, which most likely isn't the case since that would shift the status-quo and make Vegeta >> Goku.

SSJBE wasn't explicitly stated to be inaccessible at will like UI was though, so Vegeta not dishing it out when Broly kicked his and Goku's asses together is pretty strange to say the least.

It seems like it's just a plot device spur in the moment type of boost in the manga like Vegeta's MY BULMA scene and its equivalent against Merged Zamasu in the manga. Manga-wise, it will likely only show up whenever the plot demands it.

Didn't Vegeta have a pretty detailed explanation over how he attained it, like his pride over being a lone warrior or some shit? Seems like his mind was clear when he used it, although yeah his appearance not changing beyond an aura change (kind of like Boo arc Gohan ) may suggest it's kind of close to a resolve + rage boost. I suppose we'll know for sure if he ever uses the form in the current arc of the manga.
