When someone uses the 2nd level Haki, does his fist -- or sword -- get dark as well? Or the 2nd level appears in form of that invisible armor? Because Mihawk seems to imply he hardens his sword with the dark haki.

Hyogoro's fist was black. Sentomaru's was not on Sabaody, which backs up the idea that Haki is invisible.
