Super Saiyan 3 is officially 4x Super Saiyan 2, so the former. Also nothing contradicts SSJ Gotenks >>>> SSJ3 Goku.

I think Post Rosat Base Gotenks is much more valid than Pre because Gotenks is validated by both Trunks and Piccolo. You don’t see Piccolo going “yeah you got this Gotenks go fight Boo” the first time around.

I think the boost effects a lot of things. If you go with a smaller boosts, things become more manageable.
