Base Kid Trunks vs Android Arc Piccolo

Got bored of Base Saiyans > Freeza and apparently my power levels place SSJ Trunks 50x this Piccolo. How do you people think this goes?

Trunks stomps. I think #18 could've easily raised her battle power to the level she used against Vegeta if she felt like stomping Mighty Mask and Trunks was as weak as this version of Piccolo.

But even on a fight to the death (At least from Vegeta's perspective) 18 didn't bother going all out from the start until he asked her to. Is it possible she showcased more than one level of power during their fight?

Trunks wins. He was able to fight on par with 18 despite being off balance and wearing the Mighty Mask costume. I don't see any reason for 18 to hold back after getting a feel for their power, and she had ample time to raise her level if she needed to. She was trying her best to win so I really doubt she'd be playing games at a suppressed level.

Piccolo being marginally stronger won't fare much better.

Her motivations in both fights were entirely different. Against Vegeta, she just wanted to mess around. Against Mighty Mask, she wanted to end it quick and get the money. Enjoying herself was nowhere near as important when considering she passed on the risk of tracking down Babidi in favour of getting money and the rules of the Budokai would make her not act carelessly. As you said, the fight with Vegeta was a deathmatch from Vegeta's perspective, whereas #17 and #18 treat the whole situation as a game.
