Base Saiyans Strength On Movies

There are fights that involves with Base Saiyans which makes the power scaling inconsistent such as Base Gohan Vs Broly, Base Trunks Tienshinhan etc., do you guys take it seriously or not?

It's always a case by case scenario. I'd take Base Goku VS Coola seriously as the Base Goku > 100% Freeza implication is very weak given Coola says the same about SSJ Goku and Coola isn't noted as a prodigy of the race like his brother and father. I'd also take Trunks VS Tenshinhan seriously as nothing outright contradicts it in the movie's timeline. The rest are contradicted by later feats in their movies and should just be treat as plot armouring.

I'd take most of the Base Saiyans' feats seriously unless contradicted. It's not like :toei cares about power scaling.
