What if? The movie was originally written by someone-else (forgot his name) and had some weird evil infection thing going-on, like Garlic Jr. or something. They handed the script over to AT to give his consent or change anything and he basically rewrote the whole movie from scratch it seemed (maybe not exactly from scratch since he did say initially he just kept making changes and before he knew it the whole thing seemed different), aside from the idea of SSJ-God and God of Destruction.

If AT had once again not got involved in the series again like with DragonBall GT, would the new DragonBall revival have never happened?

It would overall result in a far worse movie. Having the good guys turn evil due to mind control is the most hollow kind of conflict that leaves no room to explore the ideologies of either sides' characters. The only conceivable way it could conclude would be Goku defeating Beerus using SSG, leading to an extremely generic ending.

It would still end up causing a Dragon Ball revival though, with the main differences likely being the Hakaishin of other universes and these universes in general being what drives Goku and Vegeta to becoming stronger, with some of the key story beats remaining the same due to Beerus not playing much of an active role after BoG.

Talking meta, would Toei still go the route that DB-Super went even without AT? The movie at the time might have thought to have been a one-time deal and that that'd have been it. Would DB-Super still have happened? Would DB-Super happening make AT come-back?

Toei are notorious for milking franchises (eg. Pumping out plenty of cheap Saint Seiya spinoffs in recent times despite Kurumada's name being his only involvement in them and having already made his disappointment at Toei's handling of his work vocal) and Toriyama definitely seems comfortable letting others handle his work if he still makes money as seen with him handing the reins of Super over to Toyotaro, so I'd say Super getting green-lit with or without Toriyama at the helm.

Would DragonBall still have been this successful in modern times without AT? I think AT's involvement was a big reason why people wanted to see more DragonBall again. Other-wise it might have sent the way of DragonBall GT or Episode of Bardock. Then again Japan doesn't seem to care about stuff like this (who's involved and what not).

There was a big debate over whether the manga or animu of Super was more canon even in Japan until it was confirmed AT supervises both, so they probably do care.
