Gohan wasn't on the verge of death but he had two intense battles back to back. I don't see why he can't get a small boost like Goku got after muscle tower in og db.
Agreed with Animelover. A true zenkai is unlikely but Gohan's condition by the end of the fight is almost identical to how Goku was after Muscle Tower. A boost seems warranted, just not a full scale zenkai.Gohan has no feats because he's scared. But he's stronger than Krillen after the battle and I don't see where he got a zenkai.
How? What equal powers fight ends that quickly? Yamcha easily outclassed it in speed with an afterimage and basically one shotted it with a weak Kamehameha that barely looked charged.Where was this? I'm about to make him an even 1,200, he looks like perfect equals to me.
An afterimage is a technique. They fought perfectly even before that. How? What equal powers fight ends that quickly? Yamcha easily outclassed it in speed with an afterimage and basically one shotted it with a weak Kamehameha that barely looked charged.
And the KHH that basically killed the Saibaman? It wasn't even off guard taking the attack. An afterimage is a technique. They fought perfectly even before that.
What about it? Seemed to be on par with what a Kamehameha does to equal level opponents. And the KHH that basically killed the Saibaman? It wasn't even off guard taking the attack.
So follow the logic. It may not have been a total stomp like with Tenshithands but he was still easily winning. Even if accounting for Yamcha's arrogance, he also did say "I'll take the rest by myself." Doesn't seem like he was equal at all with the green nigga here.
Yamcha wasn't begging for the Saibamen to go gangbang him lol, he merely said I should go first since Kuririn has died once before. He wasn't baiting for them to target him, plus we see plenty of exchanges where a stronger opponent is trading blows with the weaker one at first a la weakened Zarbon vs. post Zenkai Vegeta. So follow the logic.
Yamcha was suppressed fighting the Saibaman?
Also, you need to account for Krillen's line. Yamcha's confidence might be coming because he wants them to target him, not Krillen. Think deeper my boy
So your evidence that Yamcha > Saibamen is an afterimage and a smirk? He wasn't baiting for them to target him, plus we see plenty of exchanges where a stronger opponent is trading blows with the weaker one at first a la weakened Zarbon vs. post Zenkai Vegeta.
And Nappa saying "Again..?!" as though the Saibaman had squarely lost. Yamcha actually got a hit in on the Saibaman while the Saibaman merely pressured Yamcha to block, too.So your evidence that Yamcha > Saibamen is an afterimage and a smirk?
Sooo... nothing?Exhibit A: Goku vs Grandpa Gohan
Grandpa Gohan was pretty much finished off by the Kamehameha.Sooo... nothing?
No, they traded evenly. If Yamcha was an even fighter, he could have still determined the fight in the same exact way.And Nappa saying "Again..?!" as though the Saibaman had squarely lost. Yamcha actually got a hit in on the Saibaman while the Saibaman merely pressured Yamcha to block, too.
It could be a massive skills disparity. Yamcha did not show superior might, but superior skill in the fight. Him using a Kamehameha doesn't mean he's stronger. His only feat had him matching the Saibaman. In fact, Vegeta didn't even deny that Yamcha could "take the rest by himself," he just said "Kukuku... it seems you're the one who took the Saibaman too lightly" in reference to the self-destruct which Yamcha was unprepared to deal with.
What do you mean? He got right back up and started thrashing Goku again. And the same with the Chaozu situation, he wasn't lying on the ground half dead.Grandpa Gohan was pretty much finished off by the Kamehameha.
No he didn't. I think you are misremembering that fight. Goku finished that fight, Gohan was done after the Kamehameha. He was on the ground all jakked up.What do you mean? He got right back up and started thrashing Goku again. And the same with the Chaozu situation, he wasn't lying on the ground half dead.
What do you mean? He literally stood up and started slamming Goku around right after this.No he didn't. I think you are misremembering that fight. Goku finished that fight, Gohan was done after the Kamehameha. He was on the ground all jakked up.
In fairness, I don't think the Kamehameha was a direct hit there:What do you mean? He literally stood up and started slamming Goku around right after this.
You are missing a BIIIIG piece of the narrative. Lol.What do you mean? He literally stood up and started slamming Goku around right after this.
Yamcha's confidence and Vegeta saying he merely let his guard down tells me it wasn't just a skill thing. When Ten proved to be a worthy opponent (as suppressed as he was in the 22nd against him lmao), Yamcha had an internal monologue saying this guy's way stronger than I thought. He thought the Saibaman was nowhere near as tough as they made them out to be and felt he could take more of them even after expending Ki in a Kamehameha. I don't think they were evenly matched there. No, they traded evenly. If Yamcha was an even fighter, he could have still determined the fight in the same exact way.
