He was proven right a bunch of times as well. It's a nuanced position that requires quite a bit of labor to sift through. If you are willing to do the work, you'll see the author's intentions are quite clear. And Gero was proven wrong time by time... If he was still below Piccolo at full power after absorbing energy from a suppressed Piccolo, what difference can it make absorbing energy from humans, Piccolo and Gohan against a far stronger Vegeta?
100%. All of that stuff means nothing, it's all about plot. Also, Gohan is able to transform nearly immediately in the RoSaT, it took hardly any work. So he was already right there, but the plot didn't need him to be Super Saiyan yet.So Gohan can be at 60 million even though he can't transform into ssj? lol
Like when he said that his calculations are worst than he thought? Like when he make it seems that even base Vegeta is above Piccolo, but then think that his energy could be useful against ssj Vegeta? Yeah, he is a lord of the inconsistency. When he realizes how things truly are, he ran and get irritated. Well, yeah Gohan also said that it took him a lot of training to transform into ssj one arc after... you can't just say that everything is just plot when it doesn't make any sense at all.He was proven right a bunch of times as well. He absorbed Yamcha and Suppressed Piccolo and knew the energy he would obtain from them would be relatively massive. There's some credibility behind his calculations since he knew Suppressed Piccolo was the strongest among the Z Senshin and Vegeta needed to bluff his way through 20 after his Big Bang Attack.Like when he said that his calculations are worst than he thought? He knew Yamcha was the weakest yet he still provided them with a large amount of energy. A natural inference is that absorbing multiple energy sources that are larger than Yamcha's would yield a substantial boost.I wouldn’t call Yamcha massive, it’s more like a 5% boost.
The only reason Gero was constantly wrong was because he couldn’t understand that the Z Fighters only show their full power when they fight. Piccolo even says as much.
Because@FeatsofPower if Gero was underestimating Vegeta then what’s the point of the 5x multiplier? It can work as 10x since Gero with the humans or another Piccolo just has to be >> Peak Gero.
Yamcha: 3
Tenshinhan: 4.5
Kuririn: 5
Gohan: 7.5
Piccolo: 8
~ Full power: 80
Gero: 50
~ Yamcha: 53
~ Vegeta: 58
~ If he got the Z Fighters: 83
~ Piccolo: 65
~ If he got Piccolo again: 73
Vegeta: 10
~ SSJ: 100
~ Gero’s calcs: 75~80
Because
20 Post 2 Piccolos > Expected Vegeta > 20 Post Piccolo. Do you see the issue?
75 is not > 73.Exactly what my numbers portray. 83 > 75 > 73
75 is not > 73.
75 is ~ 73. If Gero was this strong already, he wouldn't need to absorb anyone else and could go straight for Vegeta.
Shut-up (plz). He wasn’t this strong “already”. He only absorbed Piccolo once.
You are saying he basically equals Vegeta already, which means, he's stupidly powerful. This is not shown. He wasn’t this strong “already”. He only absorbed Piccolo once.

Just like he flat out says 19 will defeat Goku. Gero was wrong both times. But he flat out says he’ll beat Vegeta? Are you going back on that?
That is the major question. 19 greatly powered up, logically he's somewhat close to Sick Goku, this is where we have the main contention I believe, especially with @Goku9001And how does 19 pre compare to [post Yardrat] SSj Goku?
Yeah that sounds like a nice placement for 19 post, considering he greatly powered up and pre absorption he was obviously considerably weaker than Sick Goku, but not to a point Goku could smash him to pieces and tear him apart... Vegeta's attack had clearly a more devastating effect. With that, pre absorption 19 falling at [post Yardrat] SSj Goku's level of power would sound nice, as that's also a level considerably below Sick Goku as per Tenshinhan's and everyone's amazement at Goku's performance. Funnily tho I'd generally keep [post Yardrat] Goku close to 90% of Sick Goku, but I say something bigger makes more sense... both powers are wayy too above Tenshinhan, so i don't think he'd be shitting bricks and praising Goku so much over a slight bigger than 1.1x increase. 1.33x makes sense... akin to how they reacted to Freeza, but Trunks and Goku's chi just blew them up even more. That is the major question. 19 greatly powered up, logically he's somewhat close to Sick Goku, this is where we have the main contention I believe, especially with @Goku9001
