Broly absorbs his Ikari power in his own Base state?

I mean while he was fighting Goku. Broly Base was practically seen fighting Goku SSJB quite well. On the other hand, his Base state was his maximum power before unlocking his SSJ form.

What do you think? Or did Broly just use the invisible Ikari form of him?
