Broly continuity error.

[Southern Gothic]

In DBS: Broly, Bardock is on the ground and looking fresh when Freeza throws his energy ball. Then when it cuts to Bardock, he's in the sky and heavily battle damaged with broken armor. The then tries to deflect the blast but dies, just like in the original Father of Goku. Only here, it didn't show him fighting through Freeza's army. Anyone else notice this and know if they cut out some content here?

AT's rewritten Goku's main back-story too, via DB-Minus, so yeah and in the manga there's only one panel of Bardock so perhaps outside of that every-thing else got re-written.

It's bad enough to rewrite but at least show us l0l. They just cut it out I presume and Bardock looks like he got his ass kicked offscreen in like four seconds. I like the movie overall but that part triggers my autism. The only other thing that does it is when they reused Broly animation for M10.

Yeah, here it seems like it wanted to do the scene from the Broly OVA but then just decided not too. But I'm convinced it was almost part of the movie due to Bardock's sudden battle damage.

Bardock looks like a straight fag without the bloodstained headband and classic armor tbh. Idk why Toei chose to animate him with clothes that conflict with the original manga flashback that Freeza had of Bardock.

He was a badass and a jerk who found a bit of redemption in the original OVA. This attempt to soften him has taken any teeth away from his anti-hero persona and now he's just a good hearted Saiyan, which more than anything else makes Galu's personality shift from bumping his head all the more worthless, since he just takes after his father.

Just watch, AT will retcon things so that Goku was never evil, he just forgot the memory of his parents and the 2 days he actually spent outside of the incubation chamber in Planet Vagina before they shot him off to Earth.

Speaking of, why on earth was Galu even in the pod if Gine just gave birth to him in the traditional human way according to the recent flashbacks of Bardock and his actions before death? Do Saiyan babies magically need an extra 3 years in a pod to learn to adjust to the gravity that should be natural to them if the gravity is a source of their strength? Tf????
