Broly SSJ has a power boost for while fighting Gogeta SSJ?

At the beginning of the fight it seems that Gogeta SSJ has an advantage over Broly and when Gogeta SSJ shoots at Broly SSJ, the latter wraps himself with a golden aura and then fights almost at the same level as Gogeta SSJ.

The question is whether Broly SSJ ignited the moment I created that golden energy field or was it just a shield?

What do you think?

The novelization doesn't describe any power-up here, only that they're fighting nearly evenly though Gogeta isn't worried at all.

I don't think there was a power up until he unlocked his SSJ FP form. He probably just adapted to gogeta's fighting style similar to what he did when copying Godku's God Bind

So how strong do you think Broly Base is at the end of the movie?

Will he be more or less on the level of Vegeta SSJBE?

I'm thinking of the theory that after Broly SSJ used Frieza as a punching bag for over an hour, he made his power grow tremendously.

Yes there is most likely a power boost and adaptation to the others fighting style.

I was thinking that surely Broly SSJ got a lot stronger while fighting Frieza and maybe surpassed UI Goku (ToP).

While they were fighting Goku PSSJB against Super Sabango, Gohan and Piccolo were still talking about the UI as if it were from another league. Therefore, Goku PSSJB (Post Merus) still did not reach the level of UI Goku (ToP).

Surely Vegeta (Post Yadart) was >>>>>> Goku (Post Merus) in equal forms.

I think since the Moro Saga Vegeta has been very far above Goku in equal forms. SSJBE has a much smaller boost than ever UI Sign.
