It was a shot of Broly destroying the Galaxy over time. Their was still planets their like when Goku used instant transmission to get on that one Planet where Broly was and Fake Planet Vegeta was in the South Galaxy.

Even then, a Galaxy is pretty fucking big. It has a shit lot of Solar Systems. Busting a single solar system is a SSJ2 tier feat. To destroy billions of planets like that in 30 years requires a lot of power.

Galaxies aren't consistent within the DB universe. Super shows the universe as being made up of millions of galaxies akin to our own universe. I'm pretty sure movie 8 said there were only 4 galaxies.

Freeza controlled most of the known universe. Broly laying waste to a galaxy over time isn't that big of a stretch in DB.

If you would want to calculate the feat, at minimum it would be multi-solar system level, which even Ssj2 Gohan CG pales in comparison

However this is straightforward, there's no overtime. If anything Broly destroyed the entire southern quadrant overtime, and this is just a puny part of the quadrant. This makes Broly's lowballed strength at Multi-Galaxy+

Generally speaking this ties in with Broly being a bit weaker than Bojack (M8 Broly that is) who ravaged the entire universe in barely anytime. Bojack crossed a galactic distance from the star he was sealed in all the way to Earth in a short span, and guides say that the entire universe was about to be destroyed (implication) so fast that the Kais weren't able to stop it in time

Actually no because broly did destroy the Galaxy those ruins were outside of the Galaxy so that means that brother destroyed the Galaxy but there was planets outside the Galaxy same way Buu was showing destroying planets outside the Galaxy and he destroyed the Galaxy when we finish destroying the planets outside the Galaxy

With Broly being said to be able to destroy the whole universe eventually, it must mean he can one-shot galaxies in order to do that. So the opening shot can easily be real-time. This still aligns with anime sources having Freeza and initial Perfect Cell said to be able to destroy or devastate the universe.

It has to be in real time, otherwise the Southern Galaxy wouldn't be under attack as King Kai states. He's attacking the entire galaxy. Broly's feat is beyond even Kid Buu's anime feats. Perhaps he truly is above all of Z.

Agreed, it hasn't been completely destroyed. But it definitely got wrecked, it looks like Broly got the lion's share of it destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Damn, this feat really puts Broly ahead. It's quite possible he's stupidly powerful based on this feat. He could possibly be as strong as he was in the Super movie even...

Indeed. Damn, Seth was right. Broly’s power truly is maximum. No one else in Z can perform such feats. Not even the super haxxed Kid Buu can pull this off.

I think I’m finally on board with Broly being this strong now. The feats are undeniable.

I feel the same way. Koyama's statement can work for a potential Broly that is not under a script. But in this movie, he still hasn't reached that level as Hatchiyack is a step ahead of him and the further movies imply how he is weaker than Majin Buu & Janemba.

Yea but that would work for the movie universe version of those characters.

Movie Broly would be way beyond manga characters.

But that gets tricky of course. Do we go with the overall intention or the feat?
