Bulma was wrong to make the Time Machine

1) Violated the laws of nature and gods.
2) Fucked up the spacetime continuum by creating three different timelines.
3) Led to Zamas killing everyone on Earth and Zeno erasing the entire multiverse in Future Trunks's timeline

All to save one measly planet in the entire multiverse.

She should have traveled to Namek and used their Dragon Balls instead.

I suspect that the androids killed everyone at Karin's tower and the Kami Lookout so everyone who could contact Kaio was dead, leaving them unable to pinpoint where New Namek was.

By your logic, it’s actually Goku’s fault that Zeno destroyed the timeline. He destroyed the RRA, which led Gero to make the androids, which led Bulma to make the time machine, which gave Black a timeline to hide, which led to FT Saga.

But let’s be honest, this is Zamasu’s fault. He ruined the timeline.

It's the same logic people use to give Bulma credit for the whole series because she pulled Goku out of the mountains. By that logic, it's Bulma's fault Zeno erased that multiverse because she was the one who made the time machine.

And if Bulma deserves credit for the whole series because she pulled Goku out of the mountains, that means it's still her fault Zeno erased the multiverse. If she never pulled Goku out of the mountains, Zeno wouldn't have erased the multiverse.
But let’s be honest, this is Zamasu’s fault. He ruined the timeline.
The gods banned the making oftime machines long before Bulma made hers.

In that case, I see your point. But Goku leaving when he did is a direct consequence of her actions. On the other hand, there’s several variables between Bulma making the time machine and Zeno erasing the timeline.

Zamasu is the genocidal maniac who killed everyone and fused with the universe. Goku and Vegeta are the idiots who failed to beat Zamasu (specially Goku by forgetting the Mafuba seal). Dabra killed Kaioshin and gave Black a Beerus-free timeline to play with. Bulma is several degrees removed from this.

Hell, it’s possible this would’ve happened anyway. Without the Saiyans Kaioshin would die to Dabra or Boo, so if Zamasu breaks down even without meeting Goku (Very likely) he’ll go to this timeline.

And the distortion of spacetime, a crime by divine law, is also a direct consequence of her actions.
On the other hand, there’s several variables between Bulma making the time machine and Zeno erasing the timeline.
And there are also several variables between Bulma pulling Goku out of the mountains and any important event in the series.

Dabra killed Kaioshin and gave Black a Beerus-free timeline to play with. Bulma is several degrees removed from this.
And her pulling Goku out of the mountains is also several degrees removed from every important event in the series after chapter 1.

Zamas disagrees:

Had Bulma not made her time machine, Goku would have died of the heart virus, and Zamas would have never taken his body. In addition, Beerus and Champa would have never thrown their tournament for the Super Dragon Balls, so Zamas wouldn't have found out about those, either. Even if he did, he wouldn't know whose body to take. Even if he takes Jiren's by some chance, he'd get dogpiled by the other Pride Troopers, especially considering he wouldn't know how to use his body. And Belmod could just kill him.

The gods banned time travel to keep cosmic balance. When you create another timeline, you create another reality, which throws the cosmic balance off as you then have to worry about keeping balance in multiple multiverses instead of just one.

Zeno is a bitch. Deserves to be punted.
Blame zeno, not Bulma.

Zeno did nothing wrong. Zamas already ruined the multiverse beyond repair by the time he appeared (killed all the gods, destroyed the Super Dragon Balls, and created an endless army of clones), so there was nothing that could have been done to save it.

The gods banned time machines to prevent something like this from occurring. Bulma can't be let off scot-free when she blatantly broke their law, especially if you want to give her credit for the entire series just because she pulled Goku out of the mountains.

Unless we just accept that Dragon Ball Super is bullshit and never happened.

Or blame AT and Toyo for ruining character
arcs of DBZ characters from the past.

tbh yes, Bulma should’ve just made a space ship to travel to new namek, and it’s convenient that they didn’t know where it was.

Blame Zamasu then. Bulma's a tiny factor. The destruction wouldn't have happened without her making the time machine, but it's still Zamasu who did it.
Also even though it led to lots of unforeseeable destruction, I wouldn't call Bulma wrong for making the time machine, because she had no idea it could cause all those problems. It's like saying a doctor is wrong for treating a baby that becomes Hitler 20 years later. If Bulma knew there was a small risk of destruction, then after the destruction occured it could be said to be wrong, but not when there no reason for her to anticipate any risk.

I don't think I gave her credit for the entire series. But the series wouldn't have happened without her.

Oh, right, it's true that Bulma had no way of knowing where New Namek was lol. The fact that the dead Z Fighters didn't ask the Namekians to revive them through Kaio is bullshit, but from an in-universe perspective, it wasn't Bulma's fault.

But why didn't she just go to Gero's lab to get the notes on how to shut down the androids? She knew where Gero's lab was. Trash writing lol

Blame Zamasu then. Bulma's a tiny factor. The destruction wouldn't have happened without her making the time machine, but it's still Zamasu who did it.
If Bulma's a tiny factor in destroying the multiverse, then her pulling Goku out of the mountains only makes her a tiny factor in the plot.
Also even though it led to lots of unforeseeable destruction, I wouldn't call Bulma wrong for making the time machine, because she had no idea it could cause all those problems.
She knew that time travel violate nature. Trunks realized it was ethically wrong to travel back in time and she knew it as well. Everyone and their grandma knows that when you change history, you create other problems.
If Bulma knew there was a small risk of destruction, then after the destruction occured it could be said to be wrong, but not when there no reason for her to anticipate any risk.
You don't need to be a scientist to realize time travel comes with a risk. Changing just one thing in the past can have profound effects on the future. Bulma simply felt it was worth the risk, but that wasn't her call to make. Ignorance is no excuse for violating nature and divine law.
I don't think I gave her credit for the entire series. But the series wouldn't have happened without her.
Lol nope, Pilaf would have just come for Goku's ball and he would've either A) Stolen it and made Goku go out looking for it B) Taken Goku on his quest for the Dragon Balls like Bulma did. Either way Goku's adventure still starts.

Anyway, you can't excuse how Bulma's actions led to the destruction of the multiverse and simultaneously credit her for the series happening lol don't backpedal

Yes? Well done, you're getting it. Have a treat. (Although it's not her only role in the plot).

Rest of your stuff is just head-canon.

Would Pilaf go after Goku's ball? Yes.
Would Goku let him take it? No.

Either Pilaf takes it while Goku's not there and Goku goes looking for it, or Pilaf tricks Goku into helping him like Bulma did.

Not headcanon when it's backed by the story. And if not Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army would have eventually gone after his ball. I don't see why y'all pretend Bulma was the only one looking for the Dragon Balls when the story shows us that other people were after them lol. Goku's adventure is fated to start as long as he owns the Four Star Dragon Ball. Who gave him the Four Star Dragon Ball? His adoptive grandfather Gohan. Who made the Dragon Balls? Kami aka the Nameless Namekian. Who made the Nameless Namekian? Katats. Who made Katats? The Grand Elder, who made the Namekians Dragon Balls. Where did the Namekian Dragon Balls come from? The Super Dragon Balls. Who made the Super Dragon Balls? Zalama.

So yes the story starts without Bulma and she's nowhere near the most important character in or out of universe. She's just another lowly human who wanted to abuse the Dragon Balls for her own selfish desires; she's not special.

It would actually be very interesting if Pilaf showed up at the beginning of the story instead of Bulma. He would just be a comic relief villain Goku beats and Goku somehow finds Oolong, Yamcha, Puar, Ox King, Chi Chi, and Master Roshi all on his own.
