Cases of fore-shadowing in shounen series

Early Naruto chapters I heard had fore-shadowing. What else?

Early Naruto didn't really have good foreshadowing. They implied in the first 2-3 arcs that Itachi chose Sasuke to be his killer so he could atone but he was always painted as an extremely evil and merciless killer that eradicated his own clan to test his power. In Part 2 he was just repackaged as a good guy in the most asinine way possible with his decisions regarding his clan and his brother all making about as much sense as Dragon Ball Heroes' power chain and all his decisions being idiotically defended. Kakashi also worried that the seal keeping Kurama inside of Naruto's belly had broken because he accessed like 1/100th of Kurama's power even though it takes Naruto materializing all 9 tails for the seal to break, Haku was implied relevant to Zabuza despite a Sasuke with like 1 week of Chakra training beyond the Academy level managing to outspeed him etc. Shitty Harem manga like Nisekoi have better foreshadowing than early Naruto and early Bleach.

The best example of Naruto foreshadowing was probably the reason Kakashi is always late, and Obito's name being mentioned after the events of the Chuunin Exams/Konoha Crush. A lot of shonen manga don't survive the first 5 weeks so most of them just try to put big arcs into the series early on similar to the Haku/Zabuza arc which power chain and tone wise should've just been after the Chuunin Exams so the early foreshadowing usually gets contradicted a ton similar to the whole debacle surrounding Ichigo's mom and Zanpakuto in the Thousand Asspull War arc.

Naruto's father & Obito were seen in a photo in one of the first 20 or so chapters in Kakashi's old team, even-though it's debatable if that's fore-shadowing, @Warmmedown . Also in the first 20 or so (maybe even first 10 or so) chapters on a chapter-cover Naruto is seen with a slug, Sasuke with a snake & Sakura with a snail, @Warmmedown .

That's not foreshadowing lol, something like Buggy and Shanks being on the same crew isn't foreshadowing either since it didn't imply anything about Roger's crew, only that they were on the same ship.

Something like #17 being surprised that Gero "went back to his old cybernetic design" is foreshadowing because the androids' blueprints showed that their mostly organic makeup allows for fusion with Cell. Same thing with Gero saying "I'd rather not go... to my lab..." is foreshadowing since it implied many stronger creations are lurking in there.

FMAB I meant when Tucker made a chimera of his daughter, that was probably foreshadowed within that arc. Like he said he'll lose his status as an alchemist and seemed to be stressed about it. Dunno if that counts.

Also when Vegeta says "he killed my father". Vegeta's father was also called Vegeta and then Vegeta himself is killed by Freeza.

One more, when Gohan is trying to go super saiyan, he can't do it. But then his hair goes yellow for a second one time. And later he becomes a super saiyan.

Oh! Can't believe I forgot this one - also the one time when Goku brings his Gohan in ep 1 of DBZ, he has the 4 star dragon ball on his head, which Goku has before. Then it's later revealed that Gohan is actually his son. I was like "wtf?! Oh, that was well done"

Also when Gohan has a tail and they talk about Goku's transformation and Bulma, Krillin and Roshi are scared of Gohan's tail and then later in the show Gohan transforms too.

And Chi Chi asks Goku (woah, initially typed "Gohan") to marry her and he says yes and then near the end of DB they get married.

Also when Vegeta is like "I never once hugged you" and then hugs Trunks later in the series. I've thought for a while that Vegeta is the best written character in DBZ and this is just another example of Toriyama's genius shining brightly via Vegeta.

GT is my very good - I can only think of one example from it. Remember when Vegeta put shaving cream on his face? Guess what happened to his moustache later. Or do you still remember?

Toriko was very good at foreshadowing as well. It was almost as good as One Piece in storytelling during Part I. It's too bad it flopped so hard during Part II.
