Controversial issue #1 --> Vegeta SSJ and Android #18

They have to be noticeably apart in order to accommodate Imperfect Cell and weighted Piccolo (w/Kami). There's no way around that.
Vegeta didn't whine about any stamina problems, nor did anybody else. They all outright admitted Vegeta just couldn't handle #18. Goku said he couldn't get the job done whatsoever, and he knew he had at least Piccolo and Trunks to help him out.
At best I could see Vegeta being 75% of #18, but that's about it. 80% is pushing it too far when Cell has to at least equal Vegeta, and weighted Picks has to surpass that by a healthy amount too.

He's pretty far from her, but not so far that 17 doesn't get worried when he thinks about several people of potentially his power ganging up on her. I have the gap along the lines of 75%

By 17's statement if Trunks, and Vegeta both teamed up against 18 they would both win. It was only because Vegeta tired himself out against her endless stamina that he lost.

17 was outright stated to be stronger than his sister. Vegeta lost because of his shitty stamina, and her endless stamina. They would have beaten 18 if Trunks and Vegeta both teamed up.

Vegeta doesn't have to be close in strength to 18 to beat her by teaming up, as it was pretty much stated by Freeza that Zarbon and Dodoria together would defeat 24k Vegeta, despite neither of them being close in strength to him. Plus, 17's statement isn't completely reliable anyways, as he has no data on Trunks, and for all he knew the data on Piccolo and the humans may be completely incorrect, like it was for Vegeta. He was most likely just playing it safe.

Vegeta didn't lose because of his stamina. Absolutely nothing supports that standpoint. He lost because he was simply weaker, which is what every character says on the matter. His stamina was only a talking point because #18's never went down.
When #18 tanks and breaks Trunks' sword, that's a pretty big indicator he's nothing to her. #17's statement is proven wrong by feats. Trunks can do nothing to her and Vegeta is a pest to her as well.
