Probably not. Things were desperate and Goku would have tried it if he thought possible. He's been known to put his body on the line with the Kaioken many times before, so this should have been no different.

Goku only used Kaio-Ken once in the Black arc when he was nigh dead. It made no sense. He handled the x20 quite well in the ToP, so I assume he could muster up a x20 during the Black arc.

Because King Kai already warned him not to use Kaioken that is beyond of his limit. The ToP situation is completely different since there's a time gap between the two arcs and it's likely for Goku to managed to handle the form.
