Only issue is if you think Goku meant SSJ3 Vegetto when he said the fusion wouldn't beat Beerus, but I don't think that is the case.

Well, it'd be a bit weird since we'd have to assume that Kibito and Kaioshin just randomly fused again and that Goku and Vegeta just decided to stop using SSGSS for whatever reason...

But no one can technically prove any of that wrong, so...

* Freeza does not have his Golden Form.
* Kibito Kai exists in GT whereas in Super, he does not.
* Pan is 5 years older.
* Goku does not have his SSJG SS form.
* The Pilaf gang is old again.
* Hell is different.
