Could Tenshinhan destroy the androids with the Shin Kikoho?

Maybe Tenshinhan would have used that attack as a last resort during his first fight
against Androids, but got one shotted before he could do so.
The life threatening trait of the attack can explain why he was so hesitant to use it.
Like when Sixteen did not try to selfdestruct during the first confrontation with
Perfect Cell. Also, when he finally decided to do it, he said 'this is my final power i
was never to use'.
So, maybe, like Sixteen, Tenshinhan considered kikoho a final power he was never
to use.

As for it being a threat to his life, that's true considering all the concern of Kame-Sen'nin and Chaozu when Tenshinhan was about to use it in the 22nd Budokai. But against Semi Perfect Cell Tenshinhan spammed it many times and Goku stated that if Tenshinhan kept using it he'd die. So it seems the main problem in the usage against Semi Cell stemmed from the fact that he overdid it. If we take the fact that it pushed Cell as an indicator of its strength, shouldn't one simple Shin Kikoho be already enough to wipe out 16 and powers below?
