Cutting Kaido

I'm really confused on how this works. From what we gathered, Kaido's exterior is virtually indestructible. Zoro, Oden, and the Scabbards were implied to be the only exceptions. However, we know that Kaido has fought plenty of fights against well known legends like Shanks and Roger at God Valley, but it seemed like even they couldn't hurt him to that extent as they never gave him any scars.

What is about Enma that makes it special? Kaido has said that a ''strange Haki'' can be sensed from it, so does it have something to do with some application of armament Haki that only a select few know? And how does Conquerors Haki play a role in it?

I don't know honestly because even fighting Big Mom for 3 days did nothing to him.

Still very strange. I'd find it odd if Oden and now Zoro possess a unique type of Haki due to having Enma. I feel as though Zoro would have mentioned it when he was testing Enma.
