I have no idea how strong Cymbal is, but im guessing at least stronger than Krillin and Yamcha (22nd Budokai)
Yajirobe wasn't going all-out at first. When he did he one-shotted Cymbal.Ace Attorney said:You know, looking at the fight between Yajirobe and Cymbal, they seemed pretty much even. He even called him strong opponent and used his sword. This suggest the following chain
Goku (22nd Budokai) >= Tenshinhan (22nd Budokai) > Tambourine > Yajirobe >= Cymbal > Krillin ~ Yamcha

But that was with his sword.
Cymbal was still high, he just wasn't very high compared to Tambourine. 1 1 1ryan1227 said:The many times stronger line would seem to imply that Cymbal is trash, despite him managing to trouble Yajirobe. I would just say that Yajirobe is lazy and didn't put much effort into the fight until the very end.

Which is weird considering how Kuririn was portrayed in the 22nd Tournament.ryan1227 said:2kewl4u said:Cymbal was still high, he just wasn't very high compared to Tambourine. 1 1 1ryan1227 said:The many times stronger line would seem to imply that Cymbal is trash, despite him managing to trouble Yajirobe. Yeah, I meant trash compared to Tambourine. I just think Goku is many times stronger than :Krillin
That was a kewl aspect of the early series. Even the non main-characters got to shine against the big bad.Papasmurf said:To be fair Yamcha was portrayed as fairly strong against Ten too. And Kuririn somehow did well against Piccolo in the 23rd despite being an ant to injured Piccolo :Krillin
And even then Tenshinhan pointed-out he wasn't going at full-force, so it works perfectly that way.ryan1227 said:Goku had to be humoring Kuririn if that viewpoint is to work. I think he only showed is full match level at the end, when he disappeared from everyone's sight.

But that was with his sword.
Yajirobe did say he was going to get serious, and after he said that he directly one-shotted Cymbal with the sword.
Also, if you look at Yajirobe before he was struggling a bit with Cymbal and was surprised, once he got serious he dodged Cymbal's attacks like nothing.
I'm not sure. I don't think it is, because I remember pointing it out once somewhere-else, but it's in the subbed-anime.Ace Attorney said:2kewl4u said:True. But 2 things:Ace Attorney said:But that was with his sword.

Is that in the Herms Translation?
