Dabura vs Perfect Cell

* Goku comparing Dabura to Cell is kind of hard to take at face value when he has trouble much damage (his job) to a rusty SS Gohan.
* Inconsistent art, a common argument for SS2, is hard argument to swallow when Toriyama makes a point to show how consistent he is with it with Goku.
* Dabura smugly saying he can easily deal with Gohan has just as much value as him claiming he's worth anything against the three Saiyans at the same time.

With all that said, I'd say Gohan's CG self would've been more than enough to handle Dabura, to say nothing about Perfect Cell who'd just wipe the floor with him.

If we're talking about regular Perfect Cell like Goku fought, Dabura wins. Dabura MAYBE wins against FPC because of the spit hax.

I believe Gohan was a Super Saiyan when he fought Dabura and while Dabura had a notable edge, it was not by much. So Dabura wouldn't stand a chance. Even as a Super Saiyan 2, I'd be inclined to say that Super Perfect Cell would still win comfortably. Dabura still struggled against Gohan who is much weaker than Pre-Majin Vegeta and it should be clear that Vegeta was still much weaker than Kid Gohan. In contrast, SPC is very close to Kid Gohan.

This have nothing to do with Super Perfect Cell, it´s just about Perfect Cell in general terms.

Toyotaro allegedly stated that Dabura was equal to Super-P. Cell and stronger than Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan from the Cell Games, although I've yet to find the original letter hacks that comment was said to have come from.

Nobody even noticed SSJ1 Gohan is weaker than his Cell Games self when he transformed to fight Base Spopovich, so the manga actually supports that. Even Base Gohan only gets comments like “you look rusty” from Vegeta.

Where does Gohan > pre Majin Vegeta even comes from? Vegeta might be unsure of his superiority when he first talks to Gohan, but he has no doubt of his superiority on the airplane later.

Because Goku and Majin Vegeta are only confirmed to be ahead of Cell Games Gohan, meaning SSJ2 Burst Goku and everyone else should be below that as well. If Gohan really didn't lose any power in Base form, he should be stronger than pre-Majin Vegeta.

Goku and Vegeta still used Gohan’s inability to beat Dabra as a reason to say he’s much weaker. If even Vegeta can make short work of him, then Kid Gohan is not having any trouble.

Vegeta is stronger than a calm Gohan, but admittedly would be weaker than a enraged Gohan. Daizenshuu 2 goes along with this by saying the biggest difference between Kid and Teen Gohan is the lack of anger.

Or maybe Gohan was getting a little rage boost when he wanted to fight :bitch and momentarily regained his power, but I doubt it.

I can see Dabura being as strong as Perfect Cell using his real speed against SSJ Gohan, but no higher than that.
