No, it's the original Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan God. They gave him a name, but I can't be bothered to remember it right now.

Ah. The art style change is a very nice touch. Very welcome, and honestly a great move for the series' future.
It's less detailed on purpose, so the animation itself can be MUCH better.
The fighter is Saiyan, for sure, but despite Yamoshi being the best bet, it's not confirmed.

This takes place after the Tournament of Power, so let's see how this guy can handle Ultra Instinct.

Interesting concept. Although I think Super Saiyan God is quite ridiculous. A bunch of people powering up and it makes you a God? Meh. That's terrible. But, whatever.

I totally misunderstood what this movie was going to be. When I heard it was about the origin of the Saiyans, I assumed it would take place hundreds of years ago, with a cast of brand new characters.

I should have known better.

God the animation looks like shit.The last DBS episodes have better animation, and this supposed to be a DBS movie.

While I agree with FW that the animation does look fluid, the style is an absolute turn-off for me.
