Goku’s Ki control improved a lot on his way to Namek. I think it should be here that the KHH improves, not on the Android Saga where Goku just sparred with two weaklings and got lesser gains.

Btw what do you think of Cell getting a even lesser amp? Sounds weird that a 1.33x amp would be trash if Piccolo can only pull 1.5x. I want to say that KHH had the same 924 PL, but that doesn’t make sense. Unless Piccolo dodged on purpose to pretend to be caught?

It should be. It’s not said, but Cell just sat there and allowed Vegeta to do whatever he wanted. Maybe the KHH can get similar charge at such time, but 3x amp is too close to SSJ2 though isn’t it?

It doesn’t trump Freeza, but it catches up at least. Freeza probably raises his power to 55% or so, or at least puts up full effort of his 50% and that lets Goku peek at his reserves somehow.

He's busy raising a son now. Do you have any reason for thinking he improved the Kamehameha specifically, anyway?

He didn't improve his Kamehameha as far as I'm concerned. If he didn't improve it in 5 years, I don't think he improved it in the last year either.

I don't think it's improved until the Androids Saga.

Goku is not busy raising a son. We've seen his parenting skills. He just trains! This dude is not letting up ever.

Agreed. I hate how DBS says he didn't even see Gohan's birth, but it's not like he slacked either. I'd say Piccolo trained harder (He came up with a new technique), but Goku stayed ahead outside of that.

I think it's possible he improved the KHH training with Kaio. He's not punching trees, he's training with an actual master on Ki mastering techniques. And when he arrives on Namek, his Ki control is so fine nobody can even sense him fighting anymore. I'm sure the KHH got stronger there.

We just should see how the fights treats each blast and work the amp from what’s implied. Final Crash doesn’t look amped, for example, but we should give it something since it was Vegeta’s best.

Agreed. I wanted to say something about Vegeta going all out more with GG since it was planet busting, but planet busting is always inconsistent.

I’ve considered the no amp, but everybody always goes “eh…” when they see it. Goku didn’t really look that weakened yet.
