Is it supposed to look so much like Raichu? It feels like a very lazy design, not that the designs haven't always been lazy.

It does feel like a lazy design, but it's still not as bad as Pachirisu, really. All the Pikachu rip offs have their uses except Pachirisu.

Yeah Pachirisu is pretty dumb. I think all of the rip offs are pretty bad, though.
