Did Goku use Kaioken in the manga at the ToP?

When he powered up vs Jiren, some characters did comment that was the "principle" of the Kaioken.

So do you think he used the Kaioken on top of the Blue state there?

He did to an extent, though couldn't utilise it as he does in the anime due to rustiness.

isn't there also a magazine that refers to that moment as Goku having used the Kaioken?

Yeah it was confirmed in a Jump magazine it was the Blue Kaioken and that Vegeta's form after this was the Super Saiyan Blue (Evolved).

I think they just called it Blue Kaio-Ken in the V-Jump for simplicity, rather than it being the technique. Otherwise I think they would have just called it that instead of being vague about it.

The guy who makes the full color manga seems to feel the same way.

He's just breaking his limits similar to Kaio-Ken.

I think that in the manga the Kaioken simply manifests itself with the blue characteristic aura...maybe it can't bypass the blue transformation and that's why Goku appears as such.
