Did SSJ4 become stronger after Z fighters gave him power? (Baby saga)

That doesn't make sense. All it was stated was that his friends brought him back to full power, not that they
made him stronger. Of course, he performed better against Ape Baby after his friends' energy, but that can
be explained. The first time he fought Ape Baby (before his friends gave him energy) he had stayed SSJ4 for
a while, so some of his power had been drained.

I'm going to have to go over this part again because I've always believed he was the same strength, but I've seen Spiral Force argue he was a lot stronger after being refreshed.

I thnk the time in the shadow faggots arc was the only time he was explicitly going past what his body should logically handle, but I haven't watched that part of GT since it aired on CN

There is no power statement saying he got stronger, only that he got to his full power again. Again is the key word there.
