Just as i said you're asking me to justify my reasons to you.
I don't answer to you.

And yet you've been justifying your reasons to me for a lot of posts now.

If you've already established a choice as being shallow, worthless, meaningless, or wrong because it doesn't fit your definition of what's justifiable as praiseworthy or is totally unacceptable by your standards..........Then Too Bad, Stop Asking.

I only decided your reasoning for liking Super to be shallow after seeing you try to justify what you liked about Super. It feels like you're just awed by it being more Dragon Ball, but even more powerful, even greater deities, even bigger explosions. It's all shallow reasoning without much thought put into it.

I mean seriously you're actually arguing over why i like SUPER.
LOL No Really, You're starting post literally asks does it justify itself for the person watching.
In your opinion, Super the newest continuation of Dragon Ball, did it justify it's own existence? FOR YOUdid this continuation of Dragon ball justified it's existence with what it did?

Yes I am arguing with you on why you like Super. Because, this is a forum, and a forum is a place for discussion.

Not once did I ever say you couldn't
Again If you didn't want a different answer than yours, don't ask.[/quote]

I don't want a different answer from mine, I never wanted that in the first place. What I did want was to pry deeper into your reasons for liking Super.

I have absolutely no problem holding a conversation or discussion over differences but when you're asking why i prefer something then spend time picking it apart arguing & criticising why i like someone, WHY I LIKE SOMETHING. Then you're just wasting my time because i have absolutely no reason to convince you WHY I LIKE SOMETHING.

So, you absolutely hate how I decided to discuss with you on what how much you liked something? :wtf

Nor do i need to seek your approval.

I don't care about that.

You keep on telling yourself that & i'm sure some day you'll believe it.
You really need to learn Not to turn Subjective Discussions into Objective Arguments.

I honestly don't mind the fact that Super takes place in a blank period in the manga considering the sheer amount of plot shield the main cast has in the manga in the first place.
It's not just the lack of consequences, but also the limitation of how you can take the characters' stories as even if plot armouring is constant throughout all the series, having the story in an in-between slot leaves little room for developing the cast further than the Boo Arc did or have them making permanent changes. Using GT as an example, it at least monopolised on being a completely blank slate in terms of future material by having such permanent changes as Piccolo's death and Goku leaving for good, as well as highlighting the difference between some characters and their Boo Arc/End of Z selves like Trunks.

Most I can say Super's done in terms of permanent changes and solid fleshing out of the U7 cast are Kuririn moving to West City for his job and Park Ranger #17.

Piccolo's death really makes the entire first arc pointless so I wasn't really on board with that. Besides which, the reason AT chose the post-Boo period was because he felt the rest of the cast was getting too old, and that shows in GT where #18 was the only veteran fighter to do anything worth shit except Vegeta who was still used as Goku's sidekick or the villain's host for a few episodes at best. Goku leaving for good was also a glorified rip off of him leaving to train with Oob, and while GT had an even greater opportunity to utilize 2nd/3rd generation characters the most they did was make Pan obscenely powerful yet incredibly useless and reduce all the other Saiyans to just becoming batteries for Baby and Goku. Super's somewhat guilty of making all but the main 2 or 3 characters trash as well, and often resorted to outright haxing old characters to bring them back but so did GT with making #18 so relevant in the first place.

Not saying Super's nostalgia wanking and reverting Galu and Vegina's outfits, not aging Goten and Trunks to avoid using them because they're fairly disliked, etc. is at all well executed but GT itself is chock full of flaws and more than lacking tension, actually feels torturous to watch when we see Galu struggling with guys he can oneshot in later SSJ forms in base to forcibly capture the original series' feel and it was just retarded.
