the light of everyone went to him and the sword? Seemed like the light was there to defeat the Immortal Zamasu, but Trunks already seemed to be owning Zamasu before.
Zamasu has slow speed in his bulked up state, which is probably how Trunks did what he did.
Considering all the random power ups in DBS I could see him gaining strength from his resolve tho (since that's what seems to have happened in that Galick gun struggle last ep).
Yeah, but Trunks seemed to already be pushing Zamasu back regardless. I mean is it possible the Genki-Dama kind-of power was just there for Trunks to be able to defeat Zamasu, since he was immortal?
I fail to see what a genki dama could do to deter a person's immortality when it's failed against mortal opponents when it wasn't strong enough, so yeah. Seems like it was a one-off power that gave Trunks the necessary oomph to fuck up Fused Zamasu

I thought it'd just be the logic they used, like the mortals putting all their energy together to defeat the immortal God, but yeah doesn't seem like it.
