That could work but then again, that could mean he was surprised at the speed and power of SSG which Goku explained later that it was SSjinB all along.

Yeah he was surprised. It wasn't until Goku explain to Trunks about using SSJG and SSJB, Rose noticed Vegeta was switching forms.

If my memory serves me right, in their previous fight, SSJ2 Black was beating SSJB Vegeta even when the latter uses a senzu. So, SSJB Vegeta (post ROSAT) > Rose > SSJ2 Black > SSJB Vegeta (pre ROSAT)

It's possible Vegeta was simply able to utilize more of Blue's overall power rather than him getting a lot stronger in the RoSaT. It would solve the issue of him logically being multiple times stronger than Goku, but Goku supposedly being stronger than him by the start of this current arc.

He obviously got stronger. SSG Vegeta was having no trouble defending himself from Rose Black's attacks, whereas Pre-RoSaT SSB Vegeta could barely fight Super Saiyan Black after the former had a senzu!

Cause he couldn't use the forms FP, but did when switching between God and Blue...

So no, he did not get stronger after the RoSaT.

But he pops into Blue to fight Merged Zamas, and why would he take a senzu to use Blue against SS Black if it drains so fast that God would be a better option?

I think it's pretty straightforward that he got stronger. He's able to match Rose Black using SSG. He couldn't even match SS Black using Blue after a senzu before.

SSG is only a better option if you can switch forms. SSB will always be stronger than SSG regardless, but it's FP is in a completely different league. Based on how Whis says he couldn't use his ''usual power'', it seems that they actively suppress themselves in order to prevent the massive drain that FP gives off. That's the reason why SSB Goku couldn't fight against Merged Zamasu beforehand but was able to when concealing the aura that hinders them from utilizing the full potential of Blue. Current Goku and Vegeta are still treated as equals.

SSG Vegeta matched Goku Black by switching into a SSB that is capable of utilizing more of it's power if not all of it.

SSG Vegeta was clearly defending himself without Blue though. Toyotaro drew the Blue aura around his attacks when he used it.

Just because he was only drawn as a SSB in one panel when he attacked doesn't mean he ONLY used Blue when attacking. I'm pretty sure he was also defending using that form.

He's drawn with the aura around his fists or feet when he was kicking or punching. He also easily dodges one of Black's attacks in SSG before turning Blue and uppercutting him. Later on in the fight he taunts Black into attacking and is just blocking all of his attacks with SSG.

Goku also specifies Vegeta was using Blue only when he attacked.

How do you know that Vegeta didn't turn SSB when dodging Black's hits? How do you know the aura when he punches and kicks was coming from his SSB form? And even if it is, how does that exactly prove your point? You believe there has to be an aura around Vegeta's body to signify that he's using Blue for a split second when dodging Black? The basis of your argument is only backed up by what you see visually from their fight, which does not work cause you can't say for certain Vegeta didn't use SSB when defending when he's switching forms at less than 0.1 seconds.

Vegeta was also shown to be in SSG form when attacking Black in every other instance, does that mean that he was using SSG when attacking him too?

Goku was also said to only attack the Ginyu force when upping his power level from a mere 5000, yet we know for a fact that he used it to dodge their hits as well.

Goku and Vegeta are both stated to be equals. SSB is clearly shown to have two different levels of power. This can only work if Vegeta did not get stronger at all during the RoSaT, let alone SSG being stronger than Goku's SSB.

Vegeta attacks Black twice without SSB. In every other instance he's shown with the Blue aura around his punches or kicks. Perhaps you should reread the chapter.

The Goku vs. Ginyu thing is a poor argument because Goku was in base the whole time.

What said they were equals when the fight began in the first place? They're only stated to be equals after Vegeta gets CSSB. Goku is implied to be stronger than him prior to that.

If he didn't have an aura during some instances when he attacked then it shows that it isn't a necessity when switching. And I did reread the chapter btw.

Not really, since both have the same concept of raising and lowering your power in an instant.

Vegeta stated that him and Goku are equals, which means that they are = in every form. If SSG Vegeta is stronger than SSG Goku then CSSB/FPSSB Vegeta is stronger than CSSB/FPSSB Goku by extension, which isn't the case. Goku wouldn't be anywhere near Vegeta if going by what you say. No way he improved that much in the short amount of time after the FT arc.

@Future Warrior : So how much amount of ''usual power'' that Vegeta used compare to the FPSSjinB?

I get the feeling that when Vegeta trained in the Time Room in the Manga and Goku trained the Mafuba in the Manga, his SSJG and SSJB forms increased.

I'd say he didn't get stronger, or at best made minimal gains. From what was said during the rematch, Goku put more emphasis on Vegeta's proper use of Blue, whilst the loose implication of any increase in power was treat as an afterthought.

In regards to SSB Vegeta VS Zenkai SSJ Black, the tone once Black went Rose seems to suggest that wasn't all of Vegeta's power. When Black went SSR, Vegeta told Goku to just focus on Zamasu and that he wouldn't get anywhere if Black kept being healed. Vegeta may be arrogant, but he wouldn't be dumb enough to act like he could even get anywhere if Black's new form was stronger than one which was stronger than SSB Vegeta. I believe that the frustration of Zamasu's healing making the fight perpetual may have caused a loss in Shouki for Vegeta, or cause him to not keep enough control of SSB to strike with it's full power during the punch exchange.
