Do you think DragonBall Super will have as emotional an ending as DragonBall GT?

Do you?

I don't know with the way the series is going now. It seems to be all about happy times. Would they do an emotional ending, or will it just be done? I don't think they'll go past End of DragonBall Z, but they could end it right there and then show a montage or something.

It will probably be centered around Goku being a faggot.

I hope it ends with them finding the tumor in Goku's head that led to his retardation :ladd

No, it will be a happy ending. GT's ending gave me a depression for couple of days and I hope Super wouldn't go in that route.

If it's as gay as the end to the original manga I won't be pleased.

GT's ending wasn't that emotional imo. All it really consisted of were flashbacks and opening up more questions than it closed with Goku leaving with Shenron. Whilst I didn't find Kuririn's battle with Goku or Roshi's episode that emotional, they were more fulfilling to me than GT's ending at least.

^on top of that they wanked Goku so hard throughout the entirety of GT (essentially his only loss was against Vegeta-Baby), it just felt even more asinine to see him become a god and leave his family permanently.

At least the Z ending (while pretty bad) kept the theme of Goku raising a successor that'd been a staple throughout the entirety of the post-Piccolo events of the manga.

Isn't the Z ending the end of Super? I thought they mentioned staying true to that ending?

^there's a possibility they'll go past it considering how many times AT has flip flopped on what he has said in interviews

The flash-backs were emotional, alongside Dan Dan.

To be honest, though. You can say what you want about Toei, but they do know how to do emotional stuff really good. Even the End of DragonBall Z they added some stuff to make that seem more finale-like.

I really hope EoZ is not the end of Super. I really find that they should leave EoZ as part of DBGT and redo Oob's debut inside DBS.
