Do you think Buutenks needed a 35% advantage to dominate Gohan the way he did?

It might be pushing it, but that's what SSJ3 Gotenks and Super Boo add up to in my Battle Powers.

Gohan could break through Bootenks' donut rings and dodge his Kamehameha.

That was probably a suppressed donut ring. I don't think Buutenks intended to kill him so soon, since he later said he wanted to enjoy himself.

The only reason Gohan wouldn't one-shot Super Buu is due to his regeneration.

Ultimate Gohan was angry and dead-serious and he had learned his lesson after Cell, yet he didn't one-shot. Buutenks was smiling and seemed to be having fun during the entire fight. I think the Buutenks/Gohan gap is wider than the Gohan/Super Buu one.

But, how much serious does he needs to be? Of course, I think he was using great levels of effort because otherwise Super Buu's estimations on what he would need to surpass Gohan doesn't make sense, neither it would make sense for him to realize that Gohan was actually stronger than him.

Gohan also said that this time he'll finish him for sure, does it sound like he was trying to other thing than to pressume his capabilities previously?

Also, Gohan at no point feel in need to use ki blasts with Super Buu, unlike Gotenks Buu with Ultimate Gohan. On top of that, Gotenks Buu called Gohan "tenacious" which it seems to be the case that he was actually trying to kill him or he consider him hard to kill.

Most likely. It'd be the same reason why Buu retains consciousness even after being blown to smithereens.

One can use ki blasts when toying. Buu probably was about to kill him with that blast when he escaped the Galactic Donut. It was a suppressed Galactic Donut, but still Buu didn't expect Gohan to break free.

That Gotenks Buu couldn't kill Ultimate Gohan, at that point even though he had already said he has to be quick to finish him off... on top of that, you were arguing that Gotenks Buu superiority over Gohan was bigger than Gohan's against Super Buu, and I was asking you for proofs of that other than interpretations.

EDIT: Maybe my mistake was to think that you were still talking about Gohan vs Super Buu, if you were not, then the mistake comes on me.

I think he could with a fully charged attack. Gohan knew he was in serious shit when Gotenks Boo fired a casual blast at him and barely dodged it in time. If that attack wasn't enough, then a fully charged Kamehameha should be more than enough. Gotenks Boo has a massive lead over Gohan.

"Be quick" means before the fusion time ran out.
