Do you think Mecha-Freeza is higher than SSj Goku on Namek?

Remember, he couldn't even sense Ki, but from a story-perspective it makes sense, I guess since the highest power from the last arc (even a bit higher this time, if Mecha-Freeza was higher) got one-shotted by the new character. AT has done that quite a few times.

Actually, after Freeza analyzed the situation on Earth he said: "Nah, i probably can go alone" he only brought King Cold in case Goku still had a trump card in my opinion.

Frieza stated twice that he powered up and can fight Goku alone. Since he need his father just in case then i don't see a problem that he and Goku are equal.

Seeing as Freeza was already close to Goku on Namek I find it pretty unlikely he would still be weaker especially since he said he could beat Goku on his own which nothing contradicts.

Organic Freeza was already in the same league as SSJ Goku, so I dont see why he wouldn't surpass him after getting stronger

Organic furiza was never in goku's league. Closer than some of the other fights we've seen where one fighter clearly outclasses another, but not that close.

He can't sense chi, so he doesn't know for sure. Using words like might and probably doesn't instill confidence. That's the whole reason his father is along for the trip.

He can't sense ki, but he was able to estimate well enough that his 2nd form's full powa was too much for weighted Piccolo, that Goku's ace was nothing to his 50% in 4th form, etc. (albeit, he did overestimate Ginyu ) After having fought Goku at full power on Namek and having lasted long enough that Goku couldn't take the upper hand until his ki began to fall, I think he should know well enough how much stronger he'd need to be to defeat him. Plus, he even doesn't entirely underestimate Goku since he brought backup and said with some uncertainty that he could win on his own. Doesn't sound like his usual cocky self to me.

Probably just a tiny bit stronger than SSJ Goku, but his durability have proven to be very impressive. Also the fact he brought his father along as backup means he wasn't completely sure he can win or easily win.

I remember this old theory that Mecha Freeza had a built-in scouter. I believed it at first, then I was like...nah.

At least the above you mentioned gives us a plausible reason why he magically developed the ability to sense in Super.

I agree with Mecha Frieza being at 160,000,000. It sounds like a fair placement for him. It'd make for an interesting fight with SSJ Namek Goku.

That's because he was already at full power when piccolo attacks him, he was just bluffing. He still wasn't able to tell that piccolo's wasn't going all out either.

And yeah he was able to estimate that 50% would be greater than goku because 50% was stupidly overkill against anything other than KK x 20 goku.

I'm just saying that his ability to closely judge power without a scouter is anything but certain. Hence him being uncertain and bringing backup.
