Do you think Ultimate Gohan vs Super Buu share more in common with SSJ2 Kid Gohan vs Perfect Cell or Kaioken x3 Goku vs Vegeta?

This is not a thread related to power gaps.

Cell decided to explode himself, as well as Super Buu. In the case of Cell because he obviously stand no chance and Buu to dissapear so his plan of absorbing Gotenks can work, although Gohan explained that he couldn't have been able to stop him if that explosion had gone seriously.

With Goku vs Vegeta, we know that Vegeta wanted to blow the planet after being in denial and because he can't stand the fact that he surpassed him, Gohan as well as Goku, couldn't have stopped Buu and Goku needed to increase the Kaioken to 4x times, so he can stop Vegeta's Garlick Gun.

So, what can you think on everything of this?

-Gohan unleashing/unlocking his potential
-Gohan beating up the villain who absorbs people
-Villain blows themselves up after getting beat up
So yes.

If it wasn't for Super Buu's hax regeneration and stamina, I'd say it's even more one-sided than SSJ2 Gohan vs. Perfect Cell.

SSJ2 Gohan was openly trying to prolong his suffering though, if he wanted to he'd have killed Cell in their first Kamehameha clash. I'd argue the gap between SSJ2 Gohan and Cell is bigger.

IDK SSJ2 Gohan kicked Cell really hard and he still got up. Ultimate Gohan was so nonchalant with every blow he delivered to Super Buu and and fucked him up really good.

SSJ2 Gohan was pretty nonchalant about the blow he used to literally knock #18 out of Cell, I think that's just how SSJ2 Gohan usually looks due to his newly unlocked rage transformation. Ultimate Gohan had no reason to draw things out with Boo either, he was just caught off guard by Boo's self-destruction and even told Gotenks to not drop his guard.

Okay, but this is not a post related to power gaps, but to style art and how the fight is based.

Looking at them side by side like that I think Gohan vs Cell had a clear influence on this fight.

I think it was pretty neat when Piccolo pointed out Gohan got cocky and let down his guard like in the CG when he overwhelmed Boo here (in the Super anime). Showed they were finally addressing old character flaws rather than building new ones like with Goku

Both Gohan fights are more alike due to his mindset (i.e. serious, but lacking extreme urgency like with Goku) and also that he could maintain that dominance if Cell/Buu didn't have a way out, while Goku's output was limited. I'd say the Goku example reminds me more of Gohan's rage boost moments from earlier arcs; a nice change of pace, but you know it's gonna fizzle out.

Kaioken x3 Goku VS Vegeta is a x1.33 gap. SSJ2 Gohan VS Perfect Cell and Ultimate Gohan VS Super Boo are x1.66 gaps.

Then it has more in common with SSJ2 Gohan VS Perfect Cell. Gohan reaches full potential, and defeats the main villain. Perfect Cell comes back as Super Perfect Cell with the edge at first too, so it has more in common with Ultimate Gohan VS Super Boo in that instance than Kaioken x3 Goku VS Vegeta does too.
