Isn't Rosé already a corrupted version of God? Like, he doesn't have the SSJB's strain, and it makes more sense his hair go from red to pink than blue to pink.

Zamasu: “This is…amazing!! So when a deity surpasses the Super Saiyan God, instead of blue, his hair turns light crimson!”

The anime reinforces this by having Black say he's completely mastered Goku's body, and we know he's aware of Super Saiyan Blue since he saw Goku using the form against Hit on GodTube and didn't react to Vegeta using it as if it was the first time he's witnessed it.

This makes me wonder why he wasn't getting strained.

And i don't see why he wouldn't be able to turn SSJG if he can full control Goku's body. Maybe he'd be a SSJ Purplé

No, he doesn't. It's like Vegeta who can turn into SSjin4 [with the help of Blutz wave] but he still can't turn into SSjin3.

I'm pretty sure the anime had some material call Rose Black's SS1 that seems to rival Blue's power. Since Black is always a God, IE has no regular ki, it makes a lot more sense to me in the anime for Rose to just be a corrupted SS1 that shares some Blue features because of Black's inherent God qualities.

Pretty sure he had sketches of Super Saiyan Black. That's probably why we saw it in the manga.

Yes, Toriyama did specify that Black has regular SS too, the anime simply chose to not have him use it and I do believe there was anime related info that called it his version of regular SS that just happened to rival Blue in power, probably because Black's base is WAY above Goku or Vegeta's meaning an x50 multiplier would be able to put him above Blue Goku & Vegeta in spite of a smaller multiplier.

In the manga, possibly. He didn't have it prior to Vegeta's beating, and then he went to Rose, so who knows. He did have knowledge of it, though, since he called it an inferior transformation.
