Are you trying to imply Imu’s current appearance is not an appearance worthy of calling a real appearance? You are so ignorant & insensitive.

I think they have a real face and body, though it's possible that Oda has been trolling this whole time and Imu is actually just a black shadow thing. I'm more inclined to think there's a reason why Oda hasn't revealed Imu yet. Perhaps they stole the body of Queen Lily who never made it back to Alabasta, and who there is randomly a giant portrait of in Imu's room.

It's basically confirmed now that it's his actual physical appearance and not a silhouette. He probably does have another form that looks human though.

That what I thought but I've seen people say it's not. Saw someone saying an Imu plushie is only a plushie of a silhouette and not the real form.

If he has another appearance I'd expect Sabo to have reacted less freaked out.

I've read the relevant chapters (1081 to after Cobra's death flashback)

He never did seek shocked. He just quickly grabbed Cobra and then got hurt by Imu. In the anime he seems more shocked when attacked I think.

They never have Sabo discuss the appearance of Imu. He'd probably say something if it was just a black shape. But also Dragon and Ivankov don't even ask him what they looked like, unless they did off-camera.

I don't think it's Queen Lily, unless it's just the body and not the face. She looks too much like Vivi for Cobra and Sabo to not recognise her.
