The first two Yayirobe ups were with Goku on his back. In other words, Yayirobe had a more intense training than Goku had in his 2 ascents to Tower Karin. So I think Yayirobe got a little stronger on both climbs.

I don't see anything that suggests that Karin is all that strong. Post Water Goku is fast enough to be able to get the water, I think Korin's power tops out around 22nd Budokai Yamcha at best.

I wouldn't even put him that high.

I've never hopped on board with the Karin > Battle Lvl Goku logic.

I mean, I think it's fair to put post-Tambourine and old Daimao Galu above his 22nd self considering he powered up from just Muscle Tower, but nothing says Karin can't be weaker than 22nd Galu as well.

Some people would argue that based on Goku even thinking Karin could train him anymore, but this is flat out wrong imo. Karin is being pushed to his limits by Post Water Goku ( A power not tremendously superior to Tao Pai Pai ).

I see no reason why King Chappa could not give Karin a decent fight. Karin is extremely strong, but he's nothing to the elite human levels. Goku, Tien, Roshi, Young Roshi/Tsuru, Lord Mutaito, King Chappa 23rd Budokai level imo.

What does Karin mean when he says Goku may have surpasses Roshi during his first training session. Which Roshi?

21st Budokai Roshi.

Goku had already surpassed him during the Budokai, and after Muscle Tower.

He had surpassed the skill-level (skill in the purest sense of the word, not meaning strength) that Master Roshi showed when he trained with Karin? I don't know. Might make sense, though since Goku caught Karin much faster than Master Roshi.

Perhaps. Or Karin is thinking of the exact lvl Roshi was at when he caught Karin after the 3 years..
