Somehow whatever black market biomechnical permutations afforded on Earth were able to provide a far more significant per centum increase in power along with some additional benefits like an in-built blade for Tao yet Freeza, with probably the greatest technology and minds in the universe at his disposal, could only devise some hand-me-down bucket parts that resemble something they would have scavenged from an old salvage yard. His increase in power wasn't even that credible. If we were being consistent with what science and technology on Earth alone has provided then Freeza should have been transformed into the extraterrestrial reptilian version of the terminator with power eclipsing anything seen in the Cell arc while becoming a force to be reckoned with by Buu arc standards. Nothing about the Trunks encounter made sense when interpreting the scene from a rationalist perspective with an in-depth understanding of world mechanics and lore. The only reason it panned the manner it did is because Toriyama needed a way to discard the old menace of Freeza while propping him up to act as a scapegoat for the next big enemy who is stronger than him.

When you put it like that... Mecha Freeza makes no sense.

So a weakened Vegeta is weaker than Android 20? I didn't knew that, #19 must have absorbed a lot of Vegeta's power.

Are you talking about when Goku's house appears near the start of DBZ? If so, that was filler. The Son Family house didn't appear until Goku VS Freeza in the manga, so the scenery around the house during filler was purely the creation of :toei

Even though Vegeta overpowered #19 while losing a lot of energy, he still had enough in the tank for the Big Bang Attack.

With the way everyone reacted when he began to power-up for Big Bang Attack, I'd say it was the most power they felt from him at that point. I believe it was a combination of #19's absorption+Big Bang Attack that made Vegeta easy pickings for #20.

I just finished reading RRA and damn Goku is a beast! None can escaped from him whoever is a RRA lol. Time for Baba Arc!!!

WTF is wrong with Krillin and Yamcha? Did they stop training while Goku was searching for the DBs? They can't even beat Baba's weak challengers lol.

Even if they kept training, it would've just been more of what they were already doing, thus making it very difficult to get much stronger.

The main reason they struggled with the early challengers were the abilities they possessed. Kuririn underestimated Dracula Man and got weakened by having his blood drained, whereas Yamcha was unable to instantly beat Suke-san due to his invisibility. Mummy was far from weak at this point, considering Roshi stated pre-Karin Galu would've been beaten by him and wasn't entirely sure a far stronger Goku could easily win.

They could at least surpass Goku pre Karin who is stronger than 21st Goku but instead they're like a jobber and aren't focused in the fights at all. No wonder Goku surpassed these clowns easily, skills, experiences, techniques and hard-work does make a difference rather than getting stronger. Also it seems Yamcha is already a loser here too.
