I'm done reading the King Piccolo arc and it was good, the arc does felt like a huge deal! That's 9/10 from me!

Anyway, I'm having a hard time on the final battle though, who is stronger between Goku and King Piccolo at their full power?

Goku presented the advantage throughout most of the match, since every move the Daimao made, Goku seemed to have a counter for, though the gap is minimal enough that one wrong move could've turned the tides, as seen when Piccolo damaged his limbs.

If including amplified Ki attacks though, Daimao's Bakurikimaha >> Goku's Kamehameha, since it was made pretty clear Goku wouldn't be able to survive a full powered version of the attack.

Is this your first time reading the manga? I hope you're having a good time with it! I have the VizBigs and original Japanese release (as well as the OG Dragon Ball full color in Japanese). I am learning hiragana and katakana right now and hopefully at some point in the next couple of years, would be able to read that Japanese version without relying on Viz's translations. Then again, from what I understand, they're not bad at all.

Viz has some bad errors, but overall it's solid. It's more akin to an adaptation rather than a direct translation.
