Android 17 recognizing Goku's voice but not Vegeta's is absolute cancer.

That script was origially intended for Lunch who never met Vegeta but she got replaced by that charisma vaccuum.

How people could sende Vegeta when he was a Majin? It was implied Babidi's minions couldn't be sensed, after all.

What the fuck happened after SSJ2 Gohan got retconed? Goku and Vegeta have no clue about Gohan's power, but Kaioshin remembers very well paralyzing Gohan and so does Kibito.

Goku: “Gohan, it’s your turn next, but have you trained properly?”
Vegeta: “Unfortunately, it seems he got carried away in peace and didn’t do any significant training. Our powers are higher than his now…Though I suppose there’s no telling what would happen if he snapped and went into a frenzy… ”
Kaioshin: “S-so that’s why these 3 have such composure...In a pinch, they can put forth tremendous power, like Son Goku displayed momentarily…”

Why is Goku even asking if Gohan trained then? Even Vegeta says it seems like Gohan has been slacking off.

If the situation was only about Shin and Kibito, there would be no retcon at all.

Goku didn't even speak to Gohan about the Budokai, so perhaps he thought Gohan could still be hiding power? Plus Gohan wasn't enraged, if you believe in rage boost.

Goku was standing right next to Vegeta when he claimed Gohan was piss weak. Also, why would he randomly assume Gohan was at full power when he was showing himself at moment? Vegeta on Babidi's spaceship wasn't totally sure if Gohan was rusty too.

I'm starting to believe in the rage boost, but the retcon as well. The power Gohan displayed at the Budokai was weak, but Goku knew he could go much further, as he even told Gohan to get mad like versus Cell. Goku knows he's weak in that moment.

In that same statement, Vegeta says they're both above Gohan as if he's sure about it.

I think AT doesn't understand Gohan's rage after giving him SSJ2. Initially rage was what created the form, but I figure AT thinks Gohan can get a boost on top of that? That's what both Vegeta and Goku seem to be counting on.

Vegeta was already aware of Vegeta's rustiness though, as he made a point of mentioning it when Gohan went to the Capsule Corp, he just didn't expect Gohan to be that weak.

I'm referring to him saying Gohan was far better as a kid at the Budokai to changing his tune to "it seems", which is more of a suspicion than a confirmation.

So one thing I've just noticed about the Freeza Arc. When Galu arrives, Kuririn says he'll be no match for Reacoom regardless of what training he'd done. Doesn't this seem pretty hard to imagine, given his power with Kaioken x4 before the training? Kuririn also expected Goku's new training to be a game changer, implying that he'd be >> KKX4 Saiyan Arc Galu by the time he arrived.

I mean, you could assume he was factoring in Goku taking on Reacoom, Butta and Jheese at once, but it still seems like an inaccurate estimation, even if taking into account how little Toriyama cared about battle powers.

Maybe Krillin was so scared that he did not think things through or maybe he thought that the tension of that Kaioken very high, would continue to affect him.

He still knew Goku could at least handle Kaioken x2-3 without tremendous strain, seeing as how base Goku's Ki didn't seem to lower by a significant amount until after the KKx4 Kamehameha, so I doubt he was factoring in the strain.

Or maybe as Goku was Suppressed with 5,000 power when he got to Namek, he did not trust that he had made much progress.

Kuririn had already sensed Goku's full power of 8k, so he'd know Goku was just conserving his energy.

I know, but I mean he thought that his maximum was not much beyond the 8,000. Maybe Krillin thought that Goku Base was between 8,500 and 9,000.

Perhaps he figured that was just too steep of an increase to make by training alone for 6 days? Idk
