Any of you pick up the game yet? If so, first impressions? If not, are you planning to?

I'm going to wait until I have enough for the limited edition so I can experience the bonus of playing with ost from the anime in the game. From what I've seen on Youtube videos though, the gameplay is pretty solid and whilst the story is fanfiction tripe, the character interactions save it for the most part as an experience and make it far more engaging than Xenoverse's original story.

Yeah, there are 3 arcs. As much as I like the story it kinda gets repetitive since 80% of the time you have to fight a bunch of clones who barely fight back. You could get the same experience by simply watching only the cutscenes on youtube, though you will have to play it if you wanna play as Android 21. Buy the game for the online play (or the arcade mode). But my god do the visuals perfectly mimic the anime.

Called it. I knew it was too suspicious for a modern DB Console game to not feature Bardock or Broly when their appearance has been an unwritten rule in all such games from Budokai 3 and onwards. I see they're bringing back SSJ Bardock though...ugh.

Here's hoping that with the limited flight mechanics in the game, we get Manly GAINZ Roshi as DLC too.

Just bought it now. Got the Fighterz Edition. Yay Broly. Ultimate Edition looks like a rip off. Plus I paid 90 bucks for.8 extra characters, madness.

Game is impressing me very much so far. Only 20% thru the first story arc but the cutscenes are 10/10.

While I never played the game and probably never will. I watched how the characters interact with others especially how they keep roasting on each other.

Not thru enough of it for a verdict but it is original.

Just barely beat the extreme gravity arcade course. Mind you passed with a D rank but that was hard shit lol. Ended up relying on SSJ2 Gohan and Bluegetto who were doing work for me. Getting better.
