Toriyama openly stated that the Broly movie falls into the Super continuity. The Broly movie's even covered in a manga panel prior to the Galactic Prisoner arc, and the anime and manga always follow the same basic storyline.

Your point is invalid. The old movies are stated to be in alternate universes, and feature such continuity discrepancies as YamCHAD and the others being alive after Goku has learned the Kaioken in the Saiyan arc.

It's a film.
Not another DragonBall Super episode, a film.

Episode of film makes no difference. It's a canon continuation of the series and that takes precedence over just being a film, especially compared to previous films that had no tie-in to canon content.

Previous discussions about the Broly movie have already been part of the Super section and there's no need to treat this thread as any different. End of discussion.

Or maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities when it comes to whether being a film is more important than being a series' canon continuation.
