Explaining why Kaioshin is scared of Yakon and Pui-Pui

Kaioshin wanted to team up against Yakon. Don't see why Akira Toriyama would have included that statement if Kaioshin would have 1-shotted him.

My point is you're assuming Kaioshin was way off about Yakon even though he knew that Dabra was really strong. That's picking and choosing. If he feared Dabra and Yakon based on their rep, then why assume he doesn't know how strong they were?

I'm trying to say Kaioshin is only being moved by the fear. He still feared the Saiyans losing to Yakon and suggested to all of them gang up on him after hearing they call Dabra 'nothing special'. I don't think he is stoping and analyzing their strength, he is only fearful of the Saiyans taking damage and being over cautious than the normal.

I know what you're trying to say. It's pretty clear he was ignoring everything the Saiyans said because he later called them stupid for having fun.

Kaioshin can't sense them, but his prior knowledge of Yakon and Dabra is enough to convey that they're both more of a threat than Freeza. He completely disregarded Freeza, so there's no reason for Yakon to be below him. It wouldn't make any sense if he was. Pui-Pui? Sure. Kaioshin doesn't know him and just assumed he was strong.

Dabra didn't know the power of the Saiyans, but he and Bobbidi assumed Yakon would've been able to kill the Saiyans without Kaioshin being able to do anything about it. I seriously doubt they don't know how strong Kaioshin is.

Kaioshin said he just knew recently that Bibidi had a son, so I don't think they knew Kaioshin's strength. Also these guys are full of shit in their assessment.

They were shown to be wrong about the Saiyans, but that doesn't have to be the same Kaioshin. Kaioshin just learned about Bobbidi, but it's stated that Bobbidi most likely knew they were on Earth. That implies they were watching Kaioshin and Kibito to some extent. Dabra also seems to know both of them and the fact that they can't use their energy. I wouldn't be so quick to say they didn't know Kaioshin's power.

But if you have Yakon>Freeza, then I guess it doesn't matter.

Kaioshin's performance against Fat Boo as well as Piccolo stating Kaioshin > himself is enough for me to conclude Babidi and Dabra were wrong about him (what a surprise).

At the end of the day, I have no issue with Kaioshin being above the Base Saiyans because he definitely has to be above Piccolo. Putting him below the Base Saiyans would make them all stronger than Piccolo. It creates more issues than necessary.

Overall: Kaioshin>Piccolo>Base Saiyans
